Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and the Raider Lights business that serves your property. By using this website, you agree to the parts of these terms that cover website use. You agree to all of these terms when you submit a request on a form that links to them, approve a quote or mockup that links to them, let us install, or pay us. If you do not agree, do not use this website or our services.
Please read these terms carefully. They limit our liability, including for our own negligence, limit your remedies, set a process and deadline for claims, waive jury trials and class actions where the law allows, and say where disputes are decided.
Your accepted quote and mockup (including an acceptance by text or renewal form) and your invoice are part of this agreement. Your accepted quote and mockup control price and scope, and these terms control everything else. An invoice does not change your accepted price except for changes you approved and sales tax. A separate written agreement signed by you and us controls where it conflicts with any of these.
Who provides your service
Raider Lights LLC provides service in the West Texas and eastern New Mexico areas, and Raider Lights Fort Worth LLC provides service in the Fort Worth area. Each is a separate Texas limited liability company. "We," "us" and "our" mean the one that serves your property address.
You must be at least 18 and own the property or have the owner's permission, plus any approval your HOA or landlord requires.
Using this website
Use this website only for lawful purposes. Do not send false information or spam, or interfere with the website or its security. Website text, photos and branding belong to us or our licensors.
A form submission is a request, not a booking. Website content is general information and may contain errors.
Quotes, scope and price
Each quote is based on your property and the design shown in the mockup we send. The quote covers exactly what the mockup shows. Anything not shown is not included.
If the property, design, timing or access differs from what the quote assumed, the price may change. We will tell you the new price before the work, and you may accept it or cancel at no charge. Our crews cannot approve price or design changes on site. Sales tax is added where required. We may update or withdraw a quote until you accept it.
How each season works
There is no long-term contract. Each season is a separate, optional service you choose. Nothing renews automatically. If you save a payment method, we use it only for payments you authorized, never for a new season.
In your first season, you buy custom-fit lights, and we install, maintain, remove and store them. After you pay for that season in full, you own those lights. Later seasons are labor only for the same display, priced before each season. Additions, design or color changes, a new property, and replacing worn-out strands or bulbs are quoted before the work. When we change bulb colors, the bulbs we remove become ours.
Each season's price covers installation, in-season maintenance, removal and storage as one bundle. These included services are not priced separately. If you choose to skip any of them, the price does not go down and you do not receive a credit or refund.
The service includes the lights, a timer, clips and extension cords. We install only lights we supplied, including lights you bought from us in an earlier season, and we do not offer permanent lighting.
If you move or sell the property, tell us. Lights you own stay yours unless you transfer them to the new owner in writing, and any unpaid balance stays with you unless we agree otherwise in writing. We can quote your new home.
Scheduling and access
We schedule installation and removal by area and do not promise an exact date or time. A text the day before a visit is your notice of that visit. If you opt out of texts or cannot receive them, we will send service and invoice notices by email. Weather, safety, crew availability and property conditions can cause delays.
There is no fee to reschedule. If you choose to move your installation to a later month, that month's price applies and may be higher. If we move it because of our schedule, weather or other events outside your control, your quoted price does not change. Tell us about any HOA limits on installation or removal dates when you book.
You do not need to be home. Our crews work only outside your home. On the day of a scheduled visit, keep pets away from gates and work areas, provide gate access and keep work areas clear. We close gates we open and are not responsible for unsecured pets or gates others open. If we cannot safely reach the work areas, we may reschedule.
Installation, power and safety
We attach lights with clips, with hot glue on some surfaces, and with magnets on metal roofs. We do not nail, screw or drill into your home. Our crews may decline or change any part of an installation, including steep roofs or ridgelines, that they believe is unsafe. If we leave out part of your mockup, we will tell you and reduce your invoice by that part's price or offer a comparable change at the same price.
We do not do electrical work. You must provide working exterior outlets and keep any switches that control them on. Outlets, GFCI devices, breakers, switches and house wiring are the responsibility of you and your electrician, and we do not pay electrician bills. A tripped GFCI is not a defect in our installation. Never bypass a GFCI device.
Tell us before installation about hazards we might not see, such as roof or gutter damage, fragile or fresh paint, or electrical problems.
Maintenance during the season
Maintenance of our installation is included from installation until shortly before Christmas, and we confirm the last maintenance day each season. Request it through our website or by text. There is no maintenance outside the season.
We aim to visit within 72 hours after each maintenance request. This is a goal, not a guarantee. Weather, safety, access and request volume can delay a visit. If we miss the goal, we will still come, but missing it does not create a refund, credit, damages or any other remedy.
Maintenance covers bulbs, strands, clips and timers we installed, including lights loosened by ordinary wind and weather, but not your outlets, breakers or wiring. Maintenance does not cover damage from hail, from winds strong enough to damage roofs, trees or other property in your area, or from people, animals, or a roof, gutter, painting or other project. We may charge to repair or reinstall those lights after telling you the cost and getting your approval.
For your safety, do not climb a ladder or roof to adjust the lights; request maintenance instead. We are not responsible for injury or damage caused by anyone else adjusting or removing them.
Removal and storage
We usually remove lights in January, though weather and routes can move removal later. Any remaining balance must be paid before removal, and we may delay removal until it is paid. During that delay, we are not responsible for wear, weather or HOA fines. If you remove the lights yourself or ask us not to, the price does not change, and we are not responsible for the lights or for anyone who removes them.
Unless we agree otherwise, we store your lights between seasons. Customers do not pick up stored lights; if you ask for them, we will drop them off when we are in your area. We store only lights we installed. We are not responsible for other items left with them, or for lights you store yourself once we leave them at your property.
We use reasonable care in storage. If stored lights are lost or damaged in our care, for any reason including our negligence, our only responsibility is, at our choice, to repair them, replace them with comparable lights or pay what comparable lights cost.
If you do not schedule an installation for two seasons in a row, we may send you written notice by text, email or mail using the contact details we have. The notice will say that your stored lights will be treated as abandoned unless, within 60 days, you arrange delivery or tell us to keep storing them. If you do not respond, we will send a second notice by at least two of those methods, including mail to your service address. If you still do not respond within 30 days after the second notice, the stored lights are abandoned, ownership passes to us, and we may keep, recycle or dispose of them with no further obligation to you. If you tell us to keep storing them, this process may start again after two more seasons without an installation. For lights first stored before October 9, 2026, we will send both notices by text, email and mail where we have those details, and the first notice will include a link to these terms.
Payment
There is no deposit for standard residential jobs, and nothing is due before installation. Our crews never take payment on site. After installation we send an invoice by email or text. Payment is due on receipt unless we agree in writing to a payment plan, such as half after installation and the rest by a later agreed date. Outside financing is subject to the provider's approval and terms. Commercial jobs may have different payment terms, which will be stated in the quote.
If an amount is past due, we may recover reasonable collection costs, court costs and attorney's fees where the law allows. We may decline future service, or require payment before installation, while a balance is past due or if a past balance went unpaid.
Please contact us about any billing concern before disputing a charge with your bank or payment provider. If you do dispute a charge, we may give the provider our records of the job, and a dispute decision does not cancel amounts owed for work performed.
Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel any time before our crew begins installation. There is no cancellation fee, and you owe nothing for a canceled installation. If you stop an installation after our crew has started work at your property, you owe the season's price, reduced by the price of any part of your mockup we did not install.
If you paid early and then cancel before installation, contact us and we will refund your payment, less any payment processing fee our processor does not return to us.
After installation, the season's price is earned and is not refundable. If you are not satisfied, tell us and we will work to correct the issue through repair or maintenance. We do not give refunds or credits for dissatisfaction unless we agree in writing. This does not limit any remedy the law gives you if we fail to provide a service we owe.
Property condition and damage
We use reasonable care when working on your home, and we do not glue onto stucco. You accept that normal installation effects can occur even with reasonable care and are not damage we must repair or pay for: small clip marks, minor shingle granule loss, adhesive residue, and minor lifting of paint or other finishes where glue was used on aged, chalky or recently painted surfaces. If you do not want glue used anywhere, tell us before installation; areas that need glue will be left out and removed from the price.
We are not responsible for pre-existing or deteriorated conditions (including brittle or unsealed shingles, ridge caps and aged or loose gutters), undisclosed hidden hazards, your electrical system, weather, animals, acts of others, changes others make to the installation, or HOA or landlord fines or disputes.
If you believe we damaged your property, tell us within 7 days after our visit, or after you should reasonably have discovered the damage, using our website contact form or by text, and send photos by text or email. We are not responsible for added damage caused by a late report. To the extent the law allows, written notice of a damage claim must reach us within 90 days after you discover the damage.
You agree to give us a reasonable chance to inspect and repair before anyone else does. We do not pay for inspections, estimates or repairs by roofers, painters or others unless we approve them in writing in advance, except emergency repairs needed to prevent immediate further damage.
Photos of our work
We may photograph our installation on the outside of your home and use those photos for records, training and marketing. We will not publish your name or exact address with them. If you do not want your home featured, tell us and we will stop using it in new marketing. Photos you send us are not used in advertising without your permission.
SMS terms and conditions
The Raider Lights text messaging program is operated by Raider Lights LLC or Raider Lights Fort Worth LLC, based on your service address. Messages include quote follow-up, installation and removal scheduling, service updates, invoices and payment reminders, customer support, and seasonal offers.
Checking the consent box on our form authorizes calls and texts, including automated messages, about your request, service updates, and marketing or seasonal offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time, including right after you submit a request, and still get a quote and service by email. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to a text to stop texts from the number that sent it. You may receive one final confirmation. To stop texts from all of our numbers, tell us through our contact form. Reply HELP for help. Only enroll a number you are authorized to use.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts do not guarantee availability or an installation date. A quote is a price for a specific mockup that we send you by text or email. A quote and your reply accepting it are part of our agreement. Other automated or AI-assisted replies, including price estimates, do not create or change a quote, your price or these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, including mobile numbers and consent.
Warranties
We will perform our services in a good and workmanlike manner. Our work is described by your accepted mockup and the methods in these terms, and we will provide in-season maintenance as described above. If our work falls short, tell us and we will correct it.
To the extent the law allows, this website is provided as is. Light strands and bulbs wear out with normal use. After the season in which we first install them, replacing worn-out strands or bulbs is not part of maintenance and is quoted before the work.
Limits on our liability, including for our negligence
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims relating to this website, our services or these terms, including claims caused in whole or in part by our negligence, is limited to the total price paid or payable to us for the season of service that gave rise to the claim, or $100 if no season of service is involved. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, loss of use, or emotional distress, even if caused by our negligence.
These limits apply to every claim, whether based on contract, warranty, tort, strict liability or any other theory. You agree that they are a fair allocation of risk and are reflected in our prices.
Only the Raider Lights business that serves your property is responsible to you. The other Raider Lights business is not a party to your agreement. Our owners, members and managers are not personally liable for our business's obligations. To the extent the law allows, the limits and exclusions in these terms, including those that apply to negligence, also protect our owners, members, managers, employees and contractors.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct or, where the law of the state where your property is located requires, personal injury. Nothing in these terms waives your rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act, the New Mexico Unfair Practices Act or any other law that cannot be waived.
Your responsibility for certain claims
You agree to cover our reasonable losses, including attorney's fees, from claims by others arising from your breach of these terms, inaccurate information you gave us, your lack of authority or required HOA or landlord approval, hazards you knew of and did not disclose, or tampering with the installation by you or people at your property with your permission. This does not cover losses to the extent caused by our negligence or misconduct.
Disputes
Before either of us files a lawsuit, the party with the claim must send the other written notice describing it and allow 30 days to resolve it. For unpaid balances, our invoice and payment reminders serve as this notice. This does not apply to emergency court orders or shorten a longer notice period the law requires, such as the 60-day notice under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act.
Texas law governs these terms, except where the law of the state where the property is located requires otherwise. Any lawsuit must be filed in a state court in the state where the service property is located, in a county where venue is proper, such as where the property is located or where you live. Either of us may use small claims or justice court.
To the extent the law allows, any claim must be brought within two years after it arises, unless the law requires a longer period.
JURY TRIAL WAIVER. To the extent the law allows, you and we each knowingly and voluntarily waive the right to a jury trial in any lawsuit relating to this website, our services or these terms.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER. To the extent the law allows, claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action. If this waiver cannot be enforced for a claim, the rest of these terms still apply to it.
General terms
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as weather, disasters, power outages, supply shortages, illness or government orders. These terms, your accepted quote and mockup, your invoice and any signed written agreement are the entire agreement about our services. Other messages, including automated replies and reminders, do not add promises or change these terms. Your price or scope changes only through a new quote or written change from us that you accept. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, it will be limited as needed and the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. We may assign this agreement to a business that takes over our services in your area; you may not assign it without our written consent.
We may update these terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. An update applies to you only after you agree to it in one of the ways described in the first section, such as submitting a request, approving a quote or paying for a later season. An update never applies to a dispute that has already arisen or to a season you have already booked.
Send notices and questions to us through our website contact form or by replying to a text from us. If neither is available, use any written means that reaches us. We may send notices to you by text, email or mail using the contact details we have.
